Laver Cup 2022 Highlights: Roger Federer’s emotional farewell Tears flow as curtain comes down

Roger Federer played the last match of his professional Tennis career who is 20-time grand slam winner. His rival and friend Rafael Nadal was in a doubles fixture in the Laver Cup. Another two stars will be upcoming ones in Jack Sock and Frances Tiafoe.

In social media, Federer had said last week. The 41-year-old had said in a press conference ahead of Laver Cup that ‘playing doubles with Rafa (as his last match) would be an absolute dream’.

It  was an emotional and memorable farewell. Everyone, including Nadal, was in tears in their eyes. The occasion felt right to pay tribute to the game's greatest

"It's been a wonderful day. I'm happy not sad," he said. "Feels great to be here, and I enjoyed doing everything one last time. Funny enough, with all the matches, fans, family, friends, I didn't feel much stress. Happy I made it through the match. I couldn't be happier."

Roger Federer’s  career full of trophies completed with defeat on Friday. The result hardly mattered as the Swiss maestro got retirement with tears in his eyes and cheers ringing in his ears.

A crowd of 17,500 at London’s O2 Arena saw him on, the 20-time Grand Slam champion returned after more than a year.

Sock was winner and sealed a 4-6, 7-6, 11-9 win for Team World. There was moment of stunned silence around the packed arena, then crowd stand up to salute the 41-year-old legend Federer, whose elegance sportsmanship has graced tennis during a 24-year career.

As everybody knows that Americans love to travel all over the world even one in his life. That’s why American travel Industry is more than $1 trillion.  Over 20 million people of USA have left American borders bound for international adventures. International Medical Group (IMG) done a survey recently in which travellers were asked which country they have planned to visit as the world again returns to global travel after the Covid Pandemic.

Here are the findings you must want to know where your friends are planning to go out.

1. France

In the top list is France in the past as the most visited country in the world for several years. It's a favourite place for millions of American travellers.  From the beaches of Normandy to the vineyards of Champagne and the sunny Riviera, France is full an array of attractions to make its neighbours attracted. The number of visitors can get overwhelming, however, and major attractions such as the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre in Paris sport lines that are love for people. The head of France’s national tourism development agency said the country may need to regulate its number of visitors.

2. Italy


The country Italy, land of sprawling countryside, ancient architecture, and mesmerizing eatables  seems a consistent favourite for Americans traveling abroad. While some of the more tourist places  like Rome and Florence see more of a backlog of group tours and selfie-snapping. A number of tourists are taking the road less travelled into northern Italy or along the Medireranion sea.

3. Canada

 

The country Canada is also in favourite list of Americans to travel abroad. After all, as everyone eases back into travel, heading to Canada or Mexico provides all the delight of international adventure without having to go too far. Though the numbers might be a bit less than anticipated, there have still been over 1.3 million American visitors who've traveled to Canada during the first half of 2022.

4. Mexico


Over 6.5 million Americans have visited Mexico between January and June of this year, according to the International Trade Administration. It might be the ample opportunities for travel agnecies to make their packages around Mexico picturesque beaches and resorts, or something entirely different, but our warmer southern neighbour topped the list for where Americans planned on heading this year.

5. Portugal

This country has been an exceptional destination to travel for scenic archipelagos or the best sandwich you'll ever have, has seen exponential growth in tourism in recent years. Adventurers are flocking from U.S. soil to the major cities of Porto and Lisbon as well as the smaller villages and islands beyond for a mix of coastal and city escapades.
